Our Story

Sharing the good stuff!

For over 20 years that’s what we at The Chocolate Kiss Café have been committed to give diners who crave for our delicious cakes and comfort food. We trace our sweet beginnings as a home-based cake business before we decided to open a restaurant in 1997 on the second floor of Ang Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman. It was a chance for us to share our passion for baking and cooking to the community around us, who made The Chocolate Kiss Café part of their family lunches, barkada meet-ups, meetings, and dates.

In 2016,  we opened a branch in the shopping complex of U.P. Town Center at its student hub, Urban Turf, where it’s in fitting company of other home-grown UP- and Quezon City-based shops and restaurants.

Whether you want a slice of the bestselling Devil’s Food Cake or a mouthwatering plate of the Hickory Smoked Spareribs, you can expect a delightful and satisfying meal at The Chocolate Kiss Café.

We serve live music.

Join us at Ang Bahay Alumni for live music by our favorite musicians, from 6:30 to 9:30pm on the following evenings:

Tuesday & Wednesday
Royce Aviguetero on violin, and Bobot Mabalot on guitar

Saturday
Rudy Cruz at the piano

On our walls:
Aaron Asis & Yas Doctor

Aaron and Yas are published children's book illustrators, and are members of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK).

Aaron's works are on display at our UP Town Center branch. Yas' are at both Ang Bahay ng Alumni and UP Town Center branches. All works are for sale.
